Salsa You Have to Try

Last weekend, we were looking for something fun to do as a family. I've always wanted to checkout a farmers market in the area. So, we thought we would give one a try. We had a lot of fun! There was a lot to see! It's no surprise, the produce looks amazing at the farmer's market. This is where hubby got the idea to make my salsa. And, what a great idea it was!! Here's the recipe so you can make it too!! You have to try it!!

Ingredients:
3 Tomatoes (Seeded & Chopped)
10 Green Onions
1-2 Jalapenos
1/4 c. Cilantro
2 T. Lime Juice
2 T. Hot Sauce
1tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. salt

Combine the tomatoes, green onions, jalapenos and cilantro in a blender or food processor.

When you have your desired consistency move to a dish and add the lime juice...

...and the hot sauce.

Then, add your pepper, garlic powder and salt.

You're done! Now, eat up!! Trust me you will. Each bite makes you want the next even more!!

Can't forget my beautiful flowers! We found these at the market too! I love them all, but I really love the Bells of Ireland! (They are the green flowers that look like bells.) :o)

Find it at these Link Parties!

  1. Oooh that sounds great. Whats Cilantro? Maybe it's called something else in the UK. Love the flowers too. Thanks for sharing.
